CHRISTMAS IS

 Christmas is!

Trying to use what I have and making it work for holiday decor is a challenge, but I eat it up. It’s WAY more fun to me – it totally gets my decorating mojo going and 

I love watching it all come together.

Every Year it seems I switch things up a little. I tend to move things around the house quite often in search of the perfect combination, but I am never quite satisfied. So I make do and live with an idea or ideas for a while.

 think any home can look Christmas-tastic with three things:

1. Garland/greenery

2. Ornaments/sparkle

3. Natural elements

As much as I try to get into different colors for the season, I ALWAYS gravitate back to the classics for most of our decor.

 

 I like the extra boost of joy, the finding and wrapping and giving of presents (and, yes, the getting of presents), the putting-up of Christmas decorations, the once-a-year special magic feeling that lasts for longer than a month. I like that most people, are in many countries feeling festive all at the same time for their own unique reasons, many of which center around a wintery family/friend gathering where food and fun will be had.

The decorations are up and the Xmas cards all delivered. So, we are ready to start enjoying the holiday season.

The holiday season truly is all about festivity and good will. Open your doors, host a little festive party and share a bit of goodwill to those that might need a little joy. Wishing each of you a wonderful weekend full of festivities and good will.
